As a UX designer, nothing makes me more upset than seeing someone curse at their screen because some random collection of pixels isn't behaving as expected.
To better understand and connect with people like this, I often put myself in their shoes. I tackle their problems like they're mine and delve deep to find solutions.
When a consumer uses a product, I'll make sure the product's interactions are simple and logical, so that nobody has to have any trouble with it.
I believe that all team members, not only designers and researchers, must show empathy, thus I actively try to broaden my colleagues' perspectives as well so they can better comprehend the product's users.
